Worthingtons White Shield

BREWERY

EVERY BOTTLE IS A TRUE SPECIAL EDITION

Based in the grounds of the brewing museum in Britain's beer capital, Burton upon Trent, The White Shield Brewery is believed to house Britain's oldest microbrewery.

Capacity at The White Shield Brewery is limited to 1500 barrels a year, ensuring every bottle of William Worthington's White Shield feels like a true special edition.

Head Brewer, Steve Wellington, who began brewing White Shield in the 1960s was the Guild of British Beer Writers Brewer of the Year in 2004.

With time to condition, William Worthington's unique dual yeast works up a sparkle that is sharp and Champagne-like, crafting a full luxurious mouth feel that combines with warming hints of alcoholic liqueur and White Shield's ever so subtle peppery character, to create an exquisite bitter sweet finish.
